Project SITE SUPPORT participants touch the lives of students
in our region's neediest urban schools. The students may not
always thank you, but they will never forget you.

PSS participants work with a diverse group of energetic teacher
candidates from across the nation. Their enthusiasm makes them better
teachers and allows them to form bonds that will last a lifetime.

Received ongoing mentoring from seasoned teachers and content-area
experts during the first years of teaching.

Participated in an innovative electronic learning community that
links PSS teachers to fellow teachers and leading educators across
all participating schools and universities.
•
Tuition grants and stipends were provided through a grant from
the U.S. Department of Education (Title II of the Higher Education
Act of 1998) and support from the Baltimore City Public School System.
